An On-Line Newsroom acts as a “one-stop shop” for journalists by providing extra resources they will find useful. It includes material that will enhance their stories such as logos, photos, long quotes, boilerplates and more. When reporters call looking for materials like logos, those with on-line newsrooms simply point them to the link. Once there, they might even see information that interests them for a future story. The On-Line Newsroom is easily integrated into any preexisting social media presence you have. Or, it can it be the first step into the world of social media if your company’s not ready to take the full leap. The On-Line Newsrooms act as a central hub for all media activity and a good way to make any company’s press materials work harder for them.
